Twocups 是什么？它是这个博客网站主要想表达的思想—— Two Cups（双倍收获）。
一杯敬青春，一杯敬梦想，唯二者不可辜负；一杯敬骄阳，一杯敬月光，愿二者能够得兼。
人们总在不断地做出选择，有的符合利益，有的遵从内心。但有些人并不想做选择，他们想二者兼得。俗话说“一分耕耘，一份收获”，他们愿意用成倍的付出换来双倍的成果。从利益的角度说这往往是不值得的，因为这不但辛苦，而且还需要付出很多隐性成本。但总有那么一些人以此为乐，这就是 Two Cups 想表达的意思。
从我读本科的时候开始，我习惯每做一件事就把它记录下来，方便以后的自己遇到相同的情况可以解决。在我经历过一次数据（那个时候还习惯叫“文件”）丢失后，我发现本地存储并不是最安全的方式。而网络备份则是一种提高数据安全的有效方式，所以我采取了“本地存储+网络备份”的方式存储我的记录日志。再后来，我了解到了“开源”的思想，于是想把自己的记录日志公开到网上。但我又担心我解决的问题太过基础、也帮不到别人，就不了了之了。
我没有经历过CSDN、博客园之类的全民博客热潮，并且等我决定写博客的时候，微博和朋友圈的火热又大大加快了人们的生活方式。后来读研究生时，我之前也辗转过几个第三方博客网站，最后决定还是在“简书”上分享自己的学习心得。但因为种种原因，我还是放弃了，并且最终决定建立一个自己的博客网站。
其实在建立网站之前我有着很多的顾虑，但现在看来都不重要。我相信我的博客网站在帮助到自己的同时，也能帮助到其他人。我也相信自己在经营好这个网站的同时，也能经营好自己的学业。成倍付出，两者兼得。
